The DBE Duke of Cornwall chapter was founded in 1972, so we will be celebrating 52 years in 2024. We are centrally located in Metuchen, Middlesex County, and have members from several of the surrounding towns. Our membership includes one founding Chapter member and two 25+ year members. One member currently serves on the State Board.
Our regular Chapter meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month (Sept- June) at 7:00 pm in the Old Franklin Schoolhouse, 491 Middlesex Avenue, Metuchen, unless otherwise scheduled and announced. Summer days and times may vary. Generally, light refreshments are served at each meeting.
On a state level, we contribute to the support of the Sound Start Babies program and the DBE-selected nursing facilities in Woodbridge and Hackettstown. As a chapter, we have committed to supporting Hands of Hope, a local food bank program, and also the Wounded Warriors.
